As a twitter newbie, tip toeing my way around in twitter space today, i found this interesting video because i didn’t watch the vid as time is of the essence this piece may not be comprehensive and I may have missed the core message of said video my commentary simply, is based off

Frankly I don’t think the argument put forward by the young woman is well thought out and strikes me as specious could be she means well but her arguments fall flat in the face of objective and critical analysis. Why are we shaming men? Is this another feminist/SJW–Social Justice Warrior rhetoric, if it isn’t and is a public health concern then men are not the right group to shame BTW the Marketmarch project is laudable big ups to the men, women, institutions who made that happen that is how to effect change and that sure is a worthy cause.
Navigating my way round SM platforms these last few weeks I observe Nigerians generally are banal rather than critique or constructively critise folks dissipate energy on useless uninformed diatribe that neither uplifts, neither promote nor inspire. I wrote this a few months back note how quickly the comments on the original platform Vanguard on line devolved into a roforofo in the comment section—it is a disgraceful behavior, I digress.
A casual observer can tell, as Nigerians we tolerate the inefficiencies and obvious ineptitude of out political class aka Kleptocrats if we didn’t we all rather than shame men in this circumstance did be making demands on our different local councils to provide public convenience as these are some of the infrastructure, LUC– Land Use Charge or Tenement rates were ear marked when the edits were enacted so why aren’t public funds expended judiciously? — that should be our focus.
I guess it is far more convenient to find a scape goat (in this instance men) and shame
Why pick on men? would it be because women tend to hide away from public glare when nature calls and they are out about in public?
As a people let’s do away with projected criticism it only breeds’ animosity and strife lets do right by us. United as one voice: men, women, young, old, putting aside ethnicity, creed, class, we stand a better chance at fighting irresponsible politicians who fail to uphold the fiduciary trust they owe to us as taxpayers and as Nigerians. Lets stop the banal and cheap conversations on SM and begin NOW to steer the affairs of this nation in directions we want it say 20 years from today.
No one person can go it alone we need to work together as a unified group with a common purpose.
Together we stand divided we fall and fail.
